Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has an overall score of 68.7, which is better than Huawei MediaPad M1's overall score of 61.5. Both tablets in this comparison review work with the same Android 4.2.2 OS (operating system), so both of them should provide identical OS features. Even when the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch and Huawei MediaPad M1 were released with only a couple months difference, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is a bit lighter and just a bit thinner.
Huawei MediaPad M1 counts with a little more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch. Both of them have the same display density, a screen of the same size and an equal resolution of 1280 x 800. Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has just a bit better processing power than Huawei MediaPad M1, because although it has an inferior number of cores and also slower, it also counts with more RAM memory and an extra graphics processing unit.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is way more expensive than the Huawei MediaPad M1, but you can get a better tablet for that extra dollars.
