The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a global score of 68.7, which is slightly better than the LG G Pad 8.3's general score of 65.9. These devices include Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has the older 4.2.2 version and LG G Pad 8.3 has Android 4.4 version. Even though Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch and the LG G Pad 8.3 were only released with a couple months difference, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is just a bit lighter and thinner.

LG G Pad 8.3 counts with just a little bit longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a 3 percent bigger battery size.
The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch costs more money than LG G Pad 8.3, but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
