Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is better than the LG G Pad II 8.0, getting a 68.7 score against 58.3. Both devices in our current comparison use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has older 4.2.2 version while LG G Pad II 8.0 has Android 5.0 Lollipop version. The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is an much older tablet than the LG G Pad II 8.0, but it is just a bit lighter and thinner anyway.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch counts with a little sharper screen than LG G Pad II 8.0. Both have a higher pixel amount per inch of screen, exactly the same 800 x 1280 resolution and a screen with the same size. The LG G Pad II 8.0 counts with a slightly bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the LG G Pad II 8.0 also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 128 GB.
Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has just a little better performance than LG G Pad II 8.0, because although it has lesser cores , and they both have a 1,5 GB RAM, the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch also counts with an additional graphics processor. The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch captures much better photos and videos than LG G Pad II 8.0. Both have a same resolution camera.
The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has just a bit longer battery life than LG G Pad II 8.0, because it has a 6 percent bigger battery size.
