Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a score of 68.7, which is slightly better than the Microsoft Surface Pro's score of 63.2. The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch comes with Android 4.2.2 OS, while Microsoft Surface Pro comes with Windows 8 Pro OS. Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch's construction is newer, a lot thinner and extremely lighter than Microsoft Surface Pro.
The Microsoft Surface Pro features just a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a way larger display, a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a bit more pixels per inch of display. Microsoft Surface Pro and Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch both feature similar processors, because although the Microsoft Surface Pro has a slower GPU running at 650 MHz, and they both have the same number of cores, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch features a much longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch captures greater photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro, and although they both have the same (HD) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch also has higher 30 frames per second video frame rates and a lot higher resolution back facing camera.
