Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a general score of 68.7, which is just a bit better than Microsoft Surface Pro 7's general score of 66.9. Although Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is extremely older than Microsoft Surface Pro 7, it's construction is somewhat thinner and notably lighter. Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch works with Android 4.2.2 operating system, and Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has Windows 10 operating system.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 counts with a bit better CPU than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, and they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory. Microsoft Surface Pro 7 features a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a higher amount of pixels per inch in the display, a much better 2736 x 1824px resolution and a way bigger display.
Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has just a bit better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 7, although it has a much lower 1280x720 (HD) video quality and a much lower 5 MP resolution back facing camera. The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 counts with a much bigger storage to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch counts with a much longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 7.
Even being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is also a lot cheaper, making it an obvious call.
