Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is slightly better than the OSCAL Pad 15, getting a general score of 68.7 against 64.4. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch construction is just a bit thinner and extremely lighter than the OSCAL Pad 15. Both devices in our current comparison include Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has 4.2.2 version while OSCAL Pad 15 has Android 13, so it gives you a couple additional features and performance tweaks.
OSCAL Pad 15 has a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a greater number of cores and more RAM. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a little more vivid display than OSCAL Pad 15, because although it has a little bit lower 800 x 1280 pixels resolution and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little better pixel density.
OSCAL Pad 15 has a way bigger storage for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 512 GB and 224 GB more internal storage capacity. The OSCAL Pad 15 features a much longer battery duration than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has an 8280mAh battery size.
The OSCAL Pad 15 shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a lot more mega pixels back camera.
