Although the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) is extremely newer than the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, it is a little bit thicker and much heavier. These tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has a newer 8.1 Oreo version and Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has Android 4.2.2 version, providing the user some extra features and enhanced performance.
