Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, getting a 69 score against 68.7. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019)'s design is much newer, but just a little heavier and just a little thicker than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch. Both tablets we are comparing here have Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) has the previous 11 version and Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has Android 4.2.2.
The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch features a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019), because although it has a lower number of cores and less RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a bit sharper screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019). Both of them have a display of the same size, an equal 800 x 1280 resolution and the same screen density.
