Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 is better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, with a overall score of 79 against 68.7. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3's construction is a lot newer than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch's, although it is noticeably heavier and noticeably thicker. Both of these tablets work with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 has the older 10 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has Android 4.2.2 version.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a little bit better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 also has a way higher 1200 x 1920 pixels resolution and a better screen pixel density. Galaxy Tab Active 3 counts with a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with 6 more cpu cores and more RAM memory.
Galaxy Tab Active 3 takes greater photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a back camera with a much higher 13 megapixels resolution and a much higher 3840x2160 video definition. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a way bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 1 TB and 64 GB internal storage capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 has just a bit better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has 5050mAh of battery capacity.
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 is way more expensive than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
