Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a global score of 68.7, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active's general score of 67. Despite of the fact that the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is older than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, it's body is extremely thinner and somewhat lighter. These tablets have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has an older 4.2.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has Android 4.4.
Galaxy Tab Active counts with a little more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch. Both of them have a display with the same size, the same pixel density and the same exact 1280 x 800px resolution. The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a lot bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 64 GB, the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch also has 16 GB more internal storage capacity.
