The Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a score of 77.5, which is much better than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch's general score of 68.7. Although the Galaxy Tab Active Pro is incredibly newer than the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, it is incredibly thicker and incredibly heavier. These tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has Android 4.2.2, counting with a lot of extra features.
Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a little bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a way higher resolution of 1200 x 1920, a little more pixels per display inch and a larger screen. The Galaxy Tab Active Pro counts with a bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a greater number of faster cores and a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro features a very superior memory to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has 64 GB internal memory capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a very superior battery duration than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has 7600mAh of battery capacity.
The Galaxy Tab Active Pro features a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a much more mega-pixels back-facing camera and a lot higher video definition.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
