The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a score of 68.7, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0's global score of 64.9. Both of these tablets work with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has the previous 4.2.2 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has Android 5.1 Lollipop version. The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch body is somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, despite of the fact that it was released many years before.

Galaxy Tab E 8.0 shoots much better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch. Both of them have the same 1280x720 video definition, a same resolution back camera and the same video frame rates.
