Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a score of 68.7, which is a little bit better than the Sony Xperia Tablet Z's 68.5 score. Both of these tablets work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has 4.2.2 version while Sony Xperia Tablet Z has Android 4.4.4. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch body is incredibly lighter but just a bit thicker than Sony Xperia Tablet Z, and they were released with only 4 months difference.

The Xperia Tablet Z has a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels, a just a bit higher pixels count per inch in the display and a bigger screen. Xperia Tablet Z's storage capacity for applications and games is just as good as the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch one, both of them have a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 64 GB and the same 32 GB internal storage.
