Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a score of 68.7, which is better than Xiaomi pad 5's overall score of 57.7. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is a much older and just a little bit thicker device than Xiaomi pad 5, but Samsung was able to make it lighter anyway. Both devices in this comparison come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a more recent 4.2.2 version and Xiaomi pad 5 has Android 12, providing some nice extra features.
Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch features a very superior processing power than Xiaomi pad 5, because although it has 6 lesser processing cores (although faster) and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a graphics processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch counts with a little bit better looking screen than Xiaomi pad 5, although it has a much smaller screen, a lot worse 800 x 1280 resolution and a lot worse pixels density.
The Xiaomi pad 5 shoots a lot better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a way better (4K) video resolution and a back facing camera with lot more megapixels. Xiaomi pad 5 features a very superior memory for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal memory.
Xiaomi pad 5 has a much longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has an 8720mAh battery capacity.
