The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has a score of 74.6, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch's overall score of 68.6. Both devices in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has Android 4.2.2 version. The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) body is much newer, just a little thinner and a little lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch.
The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) features just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with a greater number of faster cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) counts with just a bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a greater pixel amount in each inch in the display, a lot better 1200 x 1920 resolution and a quite larger screen.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a much better video resolution and a camera with a much higher resolution. Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 512 GB.
