The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a global score of 74, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch's global score of 68.6. Even though Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch were only released 7 months apart, Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's body is a little thinner but also just a little heavier. Both of these tablets have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a more recent 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has Android 4.2.2.
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has an incredibly better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a lot better 2560 x 1600px resolution, a bit bigger display and a much higher screen pixel density. Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, and although they both have a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB, the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch also has 32 GB internal memory.

The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a way more mega-pixels camera and a much higher (Full HD) video resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a bit longer battery life than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a 4800mAh battery size.
