Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has an overall score of 73.3, which is slightly better than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch's score of 68.6. Both devices in this comparison use Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has newer 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has Android 4.2.2 version. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a newer portable tablet, and it's also just a bit lighter and somewhat thinner than the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a lot better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a quite larger screen, a way better display density and a lot higher resolution of 2560 x 1600. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a processor that's very similar to the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch one, because although the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with more RAM and a greater number of faster cores.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a much better 8 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera and a much better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has more memory for applications and games than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because although it has a SD extension slot that supports 64 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory.
The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with just a little bit longer battery life than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a 4900mAh battery capacity instead of 4450mAh.
Even being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing here, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is also very cheap compared to the other ones.
