Comparison review
Microsoft Surface 2 is much better than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, with a 63.4 score against 57.5. Even though Microsoft Surface 2 and GALAXY Tab 3 Kids were only released 1 months apart, the Microsoft Surface 2 construction is way heavier but thinner. Microsoft Surface 2 counts with Windows RT 8.1 OS, while GALAXY Tab 3 Kids comes with Android 4.1 OS.
The Microsoft Surface 2 has a little better performance than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and a greater number of cores. Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a screen that's just as good as GALAXY Tab 3 Kids's display, although the Microsoft Surface 2 also has a much higher resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, a just a bit higher pixels quantity per inch of display and a lot larger screen.
Microsoft Surface 2 shoots a bit better videos and photos than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a camera in the back with lot more megapixels. The Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a way bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity.
GALAXY Tab 3 Kids counts with a very superior battery performance than Microsoft Surface 2.
Although Microsoft Surface 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, giving up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
