Comparison review
The Samsung Ativ Tab has a general score of 66.7, which is much better than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids's 57.5 global score. The Samsung Ativ Tab is an older and a lot heavier device than the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, but Samsung was able to build it thinner anyway. The Samsung Ativ Tab has Windows RT operating system, while Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids comes with Android 4.1 operating system.
The Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids counts with a slightly better looking display than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a lot worse resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little higher pixel density. The Samsung Ativ Tab has a very superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 64 GB and 64 GB internal memory capacity.
Samsung Ativ Tab features a bit superior processor than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and although they both have 2 cpu cores, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has an additional graphics processing unit and a larger amount of RAM memory. The Samsung Ativ Tab has a much better battery life than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has an 8200mAh battery capacity.
Samsung Ativ Tab captures slightly better pictures and videos than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a camera with a lot higher 5 mega pixels resolution.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Ativ Tab, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, resigning a couple features and specs.
