The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is much better than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, getting a 65 score against 57.5. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) body is just a bit thinner than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, although it is extremely heavier and was released just 11 months before. Both of these tablets work with the same Android 4.1 OS, so they should count with the same operating system features.
The Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids features a bit sharper display than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has a lot worse resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit better count of pixels in each inch in the display. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) features a way bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 32 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) also has 16 GB internal storage capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a little bit better processing power than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and although they both have the same number of cores and a 1 GB RAM, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) also has a graphics processor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) features a very superior battery lifetime than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a 7000mAh battery capacity.
GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has a slightly better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T). Both have a same resolution back facing camera.
Although Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is a better device, it costs a lot more than the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), but if you don't you can save some money and get the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, letting go a couple specifications.
