Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has a general score of 65.9, which is much better than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids's overall score of 57.5. These tablets have Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has a newer 4.2 version while Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has Android 4.1, so it provides you some additional features. Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch and Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids were released with only a couple months difference, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch construction is way heavier but also notably thinner than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has just a little better hardware performance than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. Both have 1 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores. Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has a slightly better display than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because although it has a much lower resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch of screen.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch takes much clearer photos and videos than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. Both of them have a same resolution camera in the back. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has a much better storage capacity to install applications and games than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has 24 GB more internal memory and a SD extension slot that holds up to 64 GB.
The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch counts with a very superior battery lifetime than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has 6800mAh of battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
