Comparison review
The Sony Tablet S is just a bit better than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, having a score of 57.5 against 57.5. Although Sony Tablet S is a better tablet than the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, we must highlight that it is also a way older, a little bit thicker and heavier tablet. Both devices we are comparing include Android operating system, but the Sony Tablet S has an older 4.0 version while GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has Android 4.1.
The GALAXY Tab 3 Kids features a little bit better display than Sony Tablet S, because although it has a lot smaller screen and a lot lower 600 x 1024 resolution, it also counts with a little bit greater screen pixels density. Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has a little better performance than Sony Tablet S. Both have the same number of cores and 1 GB of RAM memory.
The Sony Tablet S takes much clearer photographs and videos than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a camera with a much better 5 MP resolution. Sony Tablet S features a very superior memory capacity to install games and applications than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and although they both have an external SD slot that supports up to 32 GB, the Sony Tablet S also has 24 GB more internal storage capacity.
Sony Tablet S counts with greater battery performance than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a 25% bigger battery capacity.
Although Sony Tablet S is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Sony Tablet S, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, resigning a couple specs and features.
