Comparison review
Sony Xperia Tablet S is slightly better than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, having a general score of 58.9 against 57.5. Despite being the best in this comparison, Sony Xperia Tablet S is an older, noticeably heavier and somewhat thicker tablet than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. Both tablets in our current comparison include Android OS, but Sony Xperia Tablet S has a more recent 4.1.1 version and Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has Android 4.1 version, so it provides a couple additional features.
The Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has a little sharper screen than Xperia Tablet S, because although it has a way lower resolution of 600 x 1024px and a way smaller display, it also counts with a little bit better pixels density. The Xperia Tablet S counts with a little bit better hardware performance than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM, the Xperia Tablet S also has an additional graphics processor and 2 more CPU cores.
The Xperia Tablet S has a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 128 GB and 64 GB internal storage capacity. The Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids counts with a very superior battery life than Xperia Tablet S.
The Xperia Tablet S takes a bit better videos and photos than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a much better 8 MP resolution camera in the back.
Although Xperia Tablet S is a better device, it costs a lot more than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Xperia Tablet S, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, giving up a couple specifications.
