Comparison review
Xperia Tablet Z is much better than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, with a 68.5 score against 57.5. Both tablets in our current comparison include Android OS (operating system), but Xperia Tablet Z has a more recent 4.4.4 version while GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has Android 4.1, providing some extra features and performance improvements. Even though the Xperia Tablet Z and GALAXY Tab 3 Kids were only released with a couple months difference, Xperia Tablet Z's body is thinner but also notably heavier.
Sony Xperia Tablet Z features a little more vivid screen than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a lot larger screen, a higher screen density and a much higher 1200 x 1920 resolution. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a superior storage capacity to install games and applications than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has more internal memory capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 64 GB.
The Xperia Tablet Z features a better performing processing unit than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has an additional graphics processor, a greater number of cores and more RAM memory. The Xperia Tablet Z takes much clearer pictures and videos than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a camera in the back with a way higher resolution.
The Xperia Tablet Z features a superior battery duration than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
Although Sony Xperia Tablet Z is a better device, it costs a lot more than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your savings.
