Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is much better than Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, with a general score of 72.2 against 57.4. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, and Galaxy Tab 3 Lite counts with Android 4.2 operating system. Microsoft Surface Pro 3's construction is just a bit thinner but notably heavier than the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, because it has a way better 1440 x 2160 resolution, a much larger display and more pixels per display inch. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a little faster processor than Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, and although they both have 2 cpu cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has much more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 504 GB more internal storage. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 shoots greater videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, because it has a lot better (Full HD) video definition and a back-facing camera with a lot better resolution.
The Galaxy Tab 3 Lite counts with a much better battery duration than Microsoft Surface Pro 3.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro 3, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, resigning a couple specs and features.
