Comparison review

Sony Tablet S is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, getting a overall score of 57.5 against 57.4. These tablets come with Android operating system, but the Sony Tablet S has the previous 4.0 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite has Android 4.2. Although it's the best portable tablet in this comparison, the Sony Tablet S is a a little bit thicker and a lot heavier portable tablet than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite features a bit superior processing unit than Sony Tablet S. Both have 1 GB of RAM memory and a Dual-Core processing unit. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite features a little sharper display than Sony Tablet S, because although it has a really smaller display and a lot lower resolution of 1024 x 600px, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch of screen.

Sony Tablet S takes much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, because it has a lot more mega-pixels back-facing camera and a lot higher (HD) video definition. The Sony Tablet S has a lot bigger memory to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, and although they both have a SD extension slot that holds up to 32 GB, the Sony Tablet S also has 32 GB internal memory.

The Sony Tablet S features a really longer battery duration than Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, because it has a 39% greater battery size.

Although Sony Tablet S is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your money.
