Xperia Tablet S is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, getting a general score of 58.9 against 57.4. The Xperia Tablet S design is thicker and noticeably heavier than the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite. Both tablets in this review include Android operating system, but the Xperia Tablet S has 4.1.1 version and Galaxy Tab 3 Lite has Android 4.2.
Galaxy Tab 3 Lite counts with just a bit better screen than Xperia Tablet S, because although it has a really smaller screen and a way lower resolution of 1024 x 600, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch in the display. The Sony Xperia Tablet S has a way bigger storage to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, because it has 56 GB more internal memory and a SD memory slot that holds up to 128 GB.
Xperia Tablet S has a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Xperia Tablet S also has a graphics co-processor and more cpu cores. The Sony Xperia Tablet S counts with a very superior camera than Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, because it has a camera with much more MP.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite features a much longer battery duration than Xperia Tablet S.
Although Sony Xperia Tablet S is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your money.
