The Galaxy Tab 3 V has a score of 58.5, which is slightly better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's global score of 58. The Galaxy Tab 3 V body is a bit heavier and a little bit thicker than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. Both of these tablets work with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 3 V has 4.4 version and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a much more vibrant display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V, and although they both have a same size display, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also has a lot greater pixel density and a lot better 1200 x 1920 resolution. The Galaxy Tab 3 V features a little bit more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 32 GB.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V, because it has a greater number of cores, a greater amount of RAM memory and an extra graphics processor. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V has a way better battery life than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V takes much clearer videos and photos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V is a better device, it is more expensive than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, resigning a couple features and specs.
