Microsoft Surface 3 has a global score of 66.3, which is better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V's general score of 58.5. Microsoft Surface 3's body is thinner but a lot heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V. The Galaxy Tab 3 V counts with a little sharper screen than Microsoft Surface 3, although it has a way lower 1024 x 600 pixels resolution, a quite inferior number of pixels per display inch and a lot smaller display.
The Microsoft Surface 3 features a better CPU than Galaxy Tab 3 V, because it has a larger number of cores (and they are faster) and more RAM. The Microsoft Surface 3 shoots much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V, because it has a much better video definition and a much more MP back-facing camera.
The Microsoft Surface 3 counts with a much greater storage to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. The Galaxy Tab 3 V has a much longer battery duration than Microsoft Surface 3.
Although Microsoft Surface 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V, and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
