Microsoft Surface Pro is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V, getting a 63.2 score against 58.5. The Microsoft Surface Pro comes with Windows 8 Pro operating system, while Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V works with Android 4.4 operating system. The Microsoft Surface Pro is a notably heavier and much thicker tablet device than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V.
Microsoft Surface Pro features just a bit better screen than Galaxy Tab 3 V, because it has a much higher resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, a just a little better pixels density and a lot bigger screen. Microsoft Surface Pro features a way bigger memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal storage.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V, and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your budget.
