Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is better than the Galaxy Tab 3 V, with a score of 65 against 58.5. Both tablets in this review include Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has older 4.1 version and Galaxy Tab 3 V has Android 4.4 version. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is a extremely heavier tablet device than Galaxy Tab 3 V, but they have the same thickness.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V features a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has a really smaller screen and a much lower resolution of 1024 x 600px, it also counts with a just a bit better screen pixel density. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V, and although they both have an external memory slot that supports up to 32 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) also has 8 GB more internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy Tab 3 V, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) also has an extra graphics processing unit and a higher number of cores (and also faster). Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with a way better battery duration than Galaxy Tab 3 V, because it has a 7000mAh battery capacity.
The Galaxy Tab 3 V has a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), although it has a back camera with a way lower resolution and a much worse 640x480 video quality.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Tab 3 V, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Tab 3 V. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab 3 V, resigning some specs and features.
