Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a general score of 70, which is better than the Galaxy Tab 3 V's 58.5 global score. Both tablets we are comparing here come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab Active 2 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy Tab 3 V has Android 4.4, so it provides a couple nice extra features and enhanced performance. Although it's the best in this comparison, Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a just a little bit thicker and heavier tablet device than Galaxy Tab 3 V.
Galaxy Tab 3 V has a slightly better looking display than Galaxy Tab Active 2, although it has a little bit worse pixels density, a lot worse 1024 x 600 pixels resolution and a bit smaller screen. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V, because it has 2 GB more RAM memory and more cores.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 takes a lot better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V, because it has a lot more mega-pixels back-facing camera and a way higher 1920x1080 video definition. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 features a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V, because it has 8 GB more internal memory and a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 256 GB.
Galaxy Tab Active 2 features superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V, because it has a 4450mAh battery capacity instead of 3600mAh.
Although Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab Active 2, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V, resigning some features and specs.
