Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a score of 67.2, which is much better than Alcatel A30 Tablet's 57 general score. Both of these tablets come with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has the previous 4.4.2 version and Alcatel A30 Tablet has Android 7.1 Nougat version. Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is a noticeably older and way heavier tablet device than Alcatel A30 Tablet, but Samsung managed to build it thinner anyway.

Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 counts with just a little better performance than Alcatel A30 Tablet, because although it has 512 MB lesser RAM, and they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 also counts with a graphics processor. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a much better looking screen than Alcatel A30 Tablet, because although it has a little lower number of pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a little bit higher 800 x 1280 pixels resolution and a larger display.

The Alcatel A30 Tablet has a slightly better camera than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and although they both have the same video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Alcatel A30 Tablet also has a lot higher 5 megapixels resolution back facing camera. Alcatel A30 Tablet counts with a bit more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Alcatel A30 Tablet also has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 costs a little more money than Alcatel A30 Tablet, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
