The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is just a bit better than the LG G Pad 8.3, with a 67.8 score against 65.9. The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 construction is just a bit thinner but heavier than LG G Pad 8.3, and both of them were released only a few months apart. These devices include Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a more recent 4.4.2 version while LG G Pad 8.3 has Android 4.4, providing a couple additional features and better performance.
The LG G Pad 8.3 has a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, and they both have the same number of cores, the LG G Pad 8.3 also counts with more RAM memory. LG G Pad 8.3 features a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 and a much higher quantity of pixels per inch of screen.
The LG G Pad 8.3 and Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 have very similar storage for games and applications, both have exactly the same internal memory capacity and a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 64 GB. LG G Pad 8.3 counts with a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a much better (Full HD) video resolution and a lot more megapixels camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a very superior battery lifetime than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has 6800mAh of battery capacity instead of 4600mAh.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing, Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is also a lot cheaper.
