Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has an overall score of 67.8, which is just a bit better than Microsoft Surface 2's general score of 63.4. The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 works with Android 4.4.2 OS, and Microsoft Surface 2 works with Windows RT 8.1 OS. Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is a incredibly lighter and thinner device than Microsoft Surface 2, even though both of them were only released with a couple of months difference.

Microsoft Surface 2 features a little sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a little bigger screen, more pixels per inch in the screen and a way better resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The Microsoft Surface 2 has a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.

Microsoft Surface 2 features a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, and they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Microsoft Surface 2 also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory. Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a very superior battery performance than Microsoft Surface 2.

The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a bit better camera than Microsoft Surface 2, although it has a lot less mega pixels resolution camera in the back and a much lower (HD) video definition.

Despite of being the best tablet in this comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is also very cheap compared to the other ones, which makes this tablet an obvious call.
