Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has an overall score of 67.8, which is just a bit better than Samsung ATIV Tab 3's global score of 65. The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 counts with Android 4.4.2 operating system, while Samsung ATIV Tab 3 comes with Windows 8 operating system. The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is a newer tablet, and it's also just a bit thinner and lighter than Samsung ATIV Tab 3.
Samsung ATIV Tab 3's CPU is very similar to the CPU in Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has doesn't have a graphics processor and an inferior number of cores , it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory. The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 counts with a bit sharper display than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and although they both have a same size screen, the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 also has a just a little better pixel density and a slightly higher resolution of 768 x 1366px.
Samsung ATIV Tab 3 features much more memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 48 GB more internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 counts with a much longer battery life than Samsung ATIV Tab 3.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 shoots better pictures and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, although it has a lot lower (HD) video definition and a camera in the back with lot less mega pixels.
Although Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is a better device, it costs more than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung ATIV Tab 3. If you want to save some money, you can buy the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
