Comparison review
Samsung ATIV Tab 5 is just a bit better than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, with a 69.2 score against 67.8. Samsung ATIV Tab 5 works with Windows 8 operating system, and Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 counts with Android 4.4.2 operating system. Samsung ATIV Tab 5's design is older, notably thicker and noticeably heavier than the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1.
Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features just a bit better screen than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because although it has a little lower resolution of 800 x 1280px and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit better display pixel density. Samsung ATIV Tab 5 features a way bigger memory to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 counts with a CPU that's just as good as the CPU in Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although the Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has doesn't have an extra GPU and an inferior number of cores , it also counts with 512 MB more RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a very superior battery lifetime than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because it has 6800mAh of battery capacity.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has a camera that's very similar to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 one, although the Samsung ATIV Tab 5 also has a lot higher resolution camera in the back.
Although Samsung ATIV Tab 5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Samsung ATIV Tab 5, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, letting go a couple features and specs.
