The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a global score of 67.8, which is better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0)'s score of 60.7. Although the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is heavier than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), it's extremely thinner and also way newer. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has the newer 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has Android 4.1 version.
Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) counts with a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has a way worse 600 x 1024 resolution and a way smaller display, it also counts with a just a little greater pixels density. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) features a bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has an external memory slot that allows 32 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal memory.
The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a greater amount of RAM, a higher number of cores (and also faster) and an additional graphics processing unit.
