The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is better than the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, with a overall score of 67.8 against 57.5. Galaxy Tab 4 10.1's construction is a lot heavier but notably thinner than the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and they were only released 7 months apart. These tablets have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has the newer 4.4.2 version and Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has Android 4.1 version, giving a couple additional features.
The Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids counts with a little bit better display than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has a way worse 600 x 1024px resolution and a much smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher quantity of pixels in each inch of display. Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a bit better processing power than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has an additional graphics processor, 2 more cores and a greater amount of RAM.
Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 counts with a much bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 64 GB and 16 GB internal memory. Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 takes much clearer pictures and videos than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. Both of them have a same resolution camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 costs a bit more than the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
