The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) design is newer, just a bit lighter and a bit thinner than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. These tablets have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) has an older 11 version while Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has Android 4.4.2.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with 1,5 GB more RAM and a larger number of cores.
