Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a general score of 67.8, which is a bit better than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017)'s 65.7 global score. These tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has the older 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has Android 9.0 Pie. Although Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is much older and noticeably heavier than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), it's design is still somewhat thinner.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a little faster CPU than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because although it has 512 MB less RAM, and they both have 4 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 also counts with an additional graphics processor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) takes much better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a way more megapixels camera in the back and a lot better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has a superior memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB.
