Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a global score of 79, which is better than the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1's general score of 67.8. Both tablets we are comparing here include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 has the previous 10 version while Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has Android 4.4.2 version. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 is a much newer and somewhat lighter tablet device than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, but it is also noticeably thicker.
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 counts with a little bit better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has a much smaller screen, it also counts with a much better resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and much more pixels per screen inch. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a better processing power than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a greater number of cores and a higher amount of RAM memory.

The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 counts with a really longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3, because it has a 35% bigger battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 counts with a lot better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a lot better resolution back camera and a way higher video quality.
Although Galaxy Tab Active 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1.
