Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, with a 77.5 score against 67.8. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro construction is incredibly newer, but extremely heavier and way thicker than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. Both tablets in our current comparison use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has Android 4.4.2 version, providing a couple additional features.
Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a screen that's just as good as Galaxy Tab 4 10.1's screen, and although the Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a way greater display density and a much higher 1200 x 1920 resolution, they both have a same size screen. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro features just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory and a greater number of faster cores.
Galaxy Tab Active Pro counts with a very superior camera than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a camera in the back with a much better resolution. The Galaxy Tab Active Pro counts with a much bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has 48 GB more internal storage and a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 512 GB.
Galaxy Tab Active Pro has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a 7600mAh battery capacity instead of 6800mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
