Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is much better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, having a global score of 74.6 against 67.8. Both of these tablets include Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has the previous 4.4 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has Android 4.4.2 version. Although the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 were released only a couple of months apart, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is just a little lighter and a bit thinner.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a greater performance than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and although they both have the same number of cores and a 450 MHz GPU, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has a higher amount of RAM. The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has an incredibly better display than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has a much greater pixels density and a lot higher resolution of 1600 x 2560px.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a much better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a camera in the back with a lot better resolution. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a much greater memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 64 GB, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has more internal memory capacity.
Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a 21 percent more battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. If you want to save some money, you can get the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your budget.
