Comparison review
Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet is much better than the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, with a general score of 74.7 against 67.8. Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet's body is lighter and much thinner than the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. These tablets use Android OS, but the Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet has 5.0 version while Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has Android 4.4.2, providing the user a couple nice extra features.
Xperia Z4 Tablet has a greater processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory, a faster graphics processing unit, a 64-bits processor and a higher number of cores (and they are faster). The Xperia Z4 Tablet has a much sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and although they both have a same size screen, the Xperia Z4 Tablet also has a lot more pixels per inch of screen and a much better resolution of 1600 x 2560.
The Xperia Z4 Tablet captures slightly better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a back facing camera with much more mega pixels and a much higher video quality. The Xperia Z4 Tablet counts with a way bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has 32 GB internal storage capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 128 GB.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features just a bit better battery lifetime than Xperia Z4 Tablet, because it has a 6800mAh battery capacity instead of 6000mAh.
Although Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, letting go a couple features and specifications.
