The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is a bit better than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, having a general score of 65.6 against 62.5. Both of these tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has 4.4.2 version and Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has Android 10 version, giving you a couple nice extra features and increased performance. The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 design is somewhat lighter than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, but it's just a little thicker and was released many years before.
The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 counts with just a bit better performance than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Alcatel JOY TAB 2 also has a larger amount of RAM. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a much better looking display than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 1280 x 800, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 also counts with a bit higher quantity of pixels in each inch in the display.
The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 counts with a superior storage to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 256 GB and more internal memory capacity. The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 counts with a little longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has 4080mAh of battery capacity.
The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, although it has a way worse video resolution and a back facing camera with a much lower resolution.
Although Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Alcatel JOY TAB 2. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
