Comparison review
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a score of 68.5, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0's 65.6 overall score. Even though Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 and Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 were released only 6 months apart, Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9's construction is somewhat thinner but much heavier than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0. These devices include Android operating system, but the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has 4.2.2 version and Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has Android 4.4.2 version.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a sharper display than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a bigger display, a lot higher screen density and a much better 1600 x 2560 resolution.
