Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a global score of 65.6, which is a little bit better than Asus MeMO Pad 8's score of 61.2. Both devices in our current comparison come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has the newer 4.4.2 version while Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4 version, so it gives you a lot of extra features and performance enhancements. Galaxy Tab 4 7.0's design is somewhat thicker but a little lighter than Asus MeMO Pad 8, and both of them were released with only 2 months difference.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has a larger amount of RAM. Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a little bit better screen than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a way better 1920 x 1200px resolution, a little bit bigger screen and a greater screen pixels density.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 features much more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has 32 GB internal memory. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 features a way better battery performance than Asus MeMO Pad 8.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 takes much better photographs and videos than Asus MeMO Pad 8, although it has a way less MP camera and a worse (HD) video resolution.

Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 costs a bit more money than the Asus MeMO Pad 8, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
