The Google Nexus 7 (2013) is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, with a 70.8 score against 65.6. Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a slightly better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have a same size display, the Google Nexus 7 (2013) also has a higher pixels density and a much better resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. Google Nexus 7 (2013) counts with a little bit better performance than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have 4 cores, the Google Nexus 7 (2013) also has more RAM and an extra GPU.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 captures slightly better videos and photos than Google Nexus 7 (2013), although it has a tinier aperture, a lot less MP camera and a way lower 1280x720 (HD) video definition. Google Nexus 7 (2013) features a better memory to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 24 GB more internal memory.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 features just a bit longer battery duration than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
The Google Nexus 7 (2013) costs more money than the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, but you can get a better tablet for that extra dollars.
