Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is slightly better than Huawei MediaPad M1, with a 65.6 score against 61.5. Galaxy Tab 4 7.0's body is thicker but somewhat lighter than Huawei MediaPad M1, and both were released only 1 months apart. Both of these devices use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has 4.4.2 version while Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2, providing some additional features.
Huawei MediaPad M1 has a bit faster CPU than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, although it has 512 MB lesser RAM memory, they both have 4 cpu cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 costs a little more than Huawei MediaPad M1, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
